| hehe - i love it. Watching No Way Out at the moment, actually...
ps - Randy Orton rules! | 21-02-2005 18:54 fishmunky | 21,927 posts
| orton = pushover | 21-02-2005 18:57 ice_white_tiger | 14,780 posts
| How's he a pushover?! He is SOOOOOOO not a pushover - how could you say he's a pushover? Why would you say something like that? Why? Why?
.... explain what a pushover is, please? | 21-02-2005 19:00 Cyd | 11,162 posts
| haha my brother watches it constantly...omg, that show can get so annoying when you see it day in and day out | 21-02-2005 19:03 fishmunky | 21,927 posts

pushover, when you get walked all over, a wuss
i actually used as a pun...because now that hes back at the mid card feuding w/ christian...his push is over
and i say that because orton was the most underesving champ ever....well...except for maybe david arquette...hes not that good...being a supface doesnt impress me
personally...i'd like to Edge be the next World champ...he has all the tools to do so | 21-02-2005 19:11 ice_white_tiger | 14,780 posts
| See, I don't think Edge is all that great... he's a good wrestler, don't get me wrong, but he's not really World Heavyweight Champ material...
Well what about Batista? You have to admit, he is great! AND he deserves to be Champ...
AND I still think Randy's got more potential and will be going for Champ again; he's just feuding with Christian at the moment because Raw's mainly concentrating on the Batista Raw/Smackdown storyline... | 21-02-2005 19:15 fishmunky | 21,927 posts
| meh i'm just sick of Orton already, they've been pushing him since August...and nothings really impressed, his in ring ability is mediocre at best, and his promos suck...i dont think he can cut it, edge on the other hand has a vast amount of untapped potential
the reason i liked Beniot has Champ is that hes the best wrestler they've had has champ...period...he didnt have to cut promos cause the crowd knew he was just a machine in the ring
Bastita is fine for now...but even if they pu the strap on him...you'll tire of him as champ within 3 weeks | 21-02-2005 19:30 ice_white_tiger | 14,780 posts
| lol
Beniot's okay... I don't love him I don't dislike him... he's not my favourite but I admit he was a good champion.
And, thinking about it, the Edge-being-Champ thing is a good possibility...
The WWE doesn't like letting 'good guys' be champs - Chris Beniot, Randy Orton etc... there's more atmosphere and compitition when a Heel wrestler's champion... for instance, Triple H and JBL... think about how long those guys have had their belts, how many times they've been Champ, how many times they've defended their belt by loved-superstars and won... they're the kinda guys you love to hate, it's people like them that keeps people watching.
Edge is one of those people. Give him awhile, he could very well be a Champion...
... but not yet, definately not yet. Batista and Randy Orton will have their chances first... and lose them much to WWE fans' dismay...
* offtopic : hehe - woah, I went on for ages... did I even answer the question? Wait, was there even a question?

| I wouldn't mind seeing Batista become champ, regardless of what face he puts on. I like the overwhelming dominance of a champ, not the crappy sneaky loophole-filled regin HHH has had. it's the same reason why I loved watching Goldberg wrestle. His character was just completely dominant, and the short matches didn't bug me because they never really slowed down.
Orton's too fresh to be a long-term champ. He needs to build on what he's made for now, though it still bugs me that he's babyface now but never really chose to be that way. He just kinda had no choice.
One last comment: I'm really tired of Shawn Michaels. Retire already. | 21-02-2005 19:38 ice_white_tiger | 14,780 posts
| Agh I'm so tired of HBK! He gets on my breasts, that guy does...
... so does Booker T. And Spike Dudley. I don't know why, they just annoy me... | 21-02-2005 19:44 Dekar | 36,173 posts
| I couldn't agree more.
And does anyone else see the north/south divide with Raw and Smackdown? | 21-02-2005 19:50 ice_white_tiger | 14,780 posts
| hmmmmm... I know Smackdown sucks and Raw doesn't... ...I dont know about the North and South divide though...
... but Raw just has the better wrestlers, the better storylines... the only real thing that keep Smackdown going is Undertaker... and he's starting to lose his appeal...
* offtopic : btw - What the heck is the deal with Carlito Carribbean Cool? He's had about 3 matches in his entire career (if that) and yet he's going about like he owns the palce!

| okay.. I would like to think of wrestling as it once was.. when I would go and watch WCW with my little 'Stinger' headband on.. Ric Flair still wore the shiney robe, Sting was still a bleach blonde. "Flyin" Brian Pillman was still alive.. and everything just seemed a bit more real. Hot Rod Ronnie Piper would come and just like kill everyone.. Dustin Rhodes wasn't a freak to make Dusty wish he was never born.. Macho Man Randy Savage was still wearing his cowboy hat to cover up his hideious hair and saying "OOHHHH YEEEEEAA" hehe. And Dean Malenko was still the Man of 1000 holds.
I started watch WWF during the whole Austin war, but .. nothing could compare to my childhood heros.

| wrestlemania will suck this year...
has anyone noticed that Batista's longest singles match lasted about 12 minutes... and sucked...
push Jericho, he's way overdue. fued jericho and Edge over the title. and shoot Orton. i guarantee business will pick up lol.
can't wait for Angle/HBK at mania, it's gonna be the only good match. | 21-02-2005 20:11 ice_white_tiger | 14,780 posts
| * offtopic : Is the Angle/HBK match DEFINATELY happening? I've bet my brother a ton of possible matches at Wrestlemania and that was one of them...
| 21-02-2005 20:14 icefyre | 10,980 posts
| well.. nothing is ever definite, but remember that HBK said a few weeks ago on RAW that if Angle didn't have a title match at mania, then they'd "see what happens"
i'd say it's a lock. who else could Angle really wrestle? there's no one left! lol
anyone know of any plans for Edge at mania? | 21-02-2005 20:28 fishmunky | 21,927 posts
| I'm hoping for Batista/Cena/JBL
so i can see Edge vs. HHH | 21-02-2005 20:38 icefyre | 10,980 posts
| meh, a heel vs heel main event isn't likely. even though i'd love to see it, they worked great together the other week. *sigh*
blah. there are too many crap wrestlers at the top of the card. i'd love to see Paul London beat the crap out of Cena lol
ooh *has idea* since Edge and HBK never properly finished their feud... how does Angle vs Edge vs HBK sound? not ideal, but it's better than what wwe will use him for.
does anyone really want to see Jericho job to Hassan ffs?? | 21-02-2005 20:42 fishmunky | 21,927 posts
| Jericho is under used...i say if he doesnt get a huge push within the next year..he should quit and work full time on Fozzy (the new CD is amazing)
jericho shouldnt be jobbing...but someone's gotta make Hassan look good...but it shouldnt be Jericho...it should be JBL, Angle, Taker, even Austin...some hard ass american to give Hassan a credible fued to his character
as far as im concerned they've already botched Hassan | 21-02-2005 20:50 icefyre | 10,980 posts
| people are gonna start chanting "USA" in Jericho's matches aren't they... he's canadian!!! grr.
RAW: Benoit, Jericho, Edge, HBK, HHH
SD: Angle, Eddie Guerero, Rey Mysterio, BookerT, RVD
they ^ deserve the spotlight. screw the crap 300lb+ wrestlers, shove them in the midcard and work from the above don't you think?
WWE is pissing me off right now they're killing themselves! | 21-02-2005 20:55 fishmunky | 21,927 posts
| JBL remind me of any old school heel champion..Honky Tonk man, Ric Flair, ect...the type of guy who will weasel and claw..do anything to retain that title...so i like him as champ (he'll lose it at wreslemania though kids, dont think they've pushed Cena for 18 months to fall flat on their faces)
Raw i dont have a huge problem with the main...its the mid card i find is lacking...does anyone care that Shelton Benjamin is IC Champ...didnt think so...give the man some competition
Unfortunately the WWE has dropped the ball w/ Booker and RVD as far as I'm concerned
Smack down is an after thought to them, its a shame really...after the roster split and while they had Brock...Smackdown was the stronger of the 2 shows...now...i only watch it when im bored |
