Anne Rices Vampire Chronicles are really the only vampires [b]bout. I have read all of them and I truly think you should give em a try. I am so totally obssessed with Lestat! These books are truly awesome... don't be deterred by the fact there are about 13, you'll be asking for more when you have finished them!!!! Any questions, feel free to ask, or maybe you have read them/some... plez let me know!!!
I need someone to discuss them wiv!

I really want to read them, but they aren't translated into Swedish and I'm too lazy to read them in English

Yeah, I know ....

Though, I have seen the movies "Interwiev with the Vampire" and "Queen of the Damned". But I have heard that the last one (QotD) isn't like the book at all. But I liked them both.

If I ever will read the books, I'm sure that I'll like them because I love vampires

I've read "Interview With The Vampire" and "The Vampire Lestat" now I have to read "Queen of the Damned". Anne Rice is a brilliant writer and I would like to continue reading right away but I can't. I have three more books to read for school so I should get done with those and then get cracking on "Queen of the Damned." I love the movie as well but I knew there was something vital lacking in the movie so that's why I started reading the series and I'm falling for these books and of course the character Lestat.

i read the first four books, then i dunno, i forgot about it and never got around to readin the 5th, altho i have it here.. (whoa there are 13 volumes??!).
well i was definitely captivated at some point.
it was a long time ago so i think i mix the stories of all 4 books in my memory, but what i liked best was the story of Queen Akasha, i think its in the second book. and Armand, how he tries to understand his own condition, and films himself while sleeping etc.

My favorite book in the series so far is Blood and Gold. It is beautifully written and is so easy to get caught up in the story
