To finally hang with a girl a little cooler than me
Her name is Nona, shes a monkey in a midriff
She wears suspenders but I'm not quite sure what that means
And when she swings
All the people clap and the angels sing
But she doesn't notice me..
Cause she's watching Tarzan
Feeding on bananas
Listening to zookeepers
Animals in her eyes
It's like an old movie
She's looking groovy
If you were me then you'd scream
I wanna date the monkey!
As I fail miserably
Trying to get the chimp all the bad guys want

She likes bananas but I'd prefer an orange
Her favorite music's full of singers that are mad at my dad
I know she'd like to score some points in black jack and roulette
She'll never know I'm the best that she'll never have..
